Change the following sentences into Indirect speech :

1) "Get up Swamy" , said his father. 2) Swamy's mother said, " He can sleep in the hall, I think." 3) Swamy's father sais, " You must learn not to be afraid of darkness." 4) Swamy's father said, " But, promise me you won't roll up your bed and go to your granny's side at night. " 5) Swamy's mother said, " He didn't have a wink of sleep the whole of last night." 6) Swamy's mother said, " You let him sleep where he likes.". 7) "Only don't blame me afterwards", said Swamy's father. 8) "Let's go and help her", said Baleshwar to the people around him. 9) " My sister is injured", he implored motorists who drove by, " please help me take her to a hospital". 10) "Take the girl to Airoli" , suggested the cop, " There is a hospital there'. 11) "I am new to Mumbai, but I've noticed that people here are afraid" says Baleshwar, " They fear getting trapped in the courts.

Example 1

Shalini : Hi, Roma, how are you now ? We are sorry to hear about the accident.

Roma : Please come in. I am ok. That accident still haunts me.

Tejas : That's really a pity. We can't even imagine how all that happened.

Shalini greeted Roma and inquired how she was then and expressed her sorrow that they were sorry to hear about the accident. Roma requested them to come in and told them that she was okay and further told that that accident still hunted her. Tejas told that that was really pity and further told that they could not even imagine how all that happened.

Example 2

Roma : A young chap risked his life and saved me

Tejas : Did he ? Anyway, take care Roma. For heaven's sake, don't you ever run into any more risks

Roma : Thank you all.

Ramani : Meet you again. Take care. Bye!

Roma told her friends with pride that a young chap had risked his life and saved her. Tejas asked Roma if he really risked his life and told her to take care and further told with great concern never to run into anymore risks. Roma thanked all of them. Ramani assured Roma to meet again and advised her to take care and bid her good bye.
